Hi Tom, I don't know if you remember me and my sister Nancy and especially our brother Gary. We remember you and Gary just asked me to try and contact you. Happy Birthday-and many happy returns! It's been a long time. Hope we run into each other again, like we did at the oak barn--I believe we met Angelo at that time, as well. We are now living in Indio, CA. We're full time residents at Heritage Palms and love it. Anyway, hope your day will be special.

Hi Robert, The candy stores I definitely remember, there was Seeleys down toward the Vogue and then across from La Bellas was I think Albas or Alvas, something like that. As kids, we walked to Alvas all the time and bought all that fun candy, the sugar dots on paper strips, the wax tiny bottles filled with fruit drink of some kind, lots of stuff for a penny. Just thought I'd help you out, I hate when I can't think of things like that.
