Jill was beautiful, intelligent, sophisticated, artistic and possessed a wonderful sense of humor. She was also a perfectionist. Sometimes those aspects that comprise who we are conspire to inflict emotional instability and a sense of hopelessness in us. On February 14, 1979, Jill chose to end her personal struggles. Those of us that loved her are left with the pain, the questions, the guilt and the frustration of what might have been. To me, she was friend, lover and teacher. I have never known anyone else with whom I felt so close.
I know many of us were so very touched by your loving and moving tribute to Jill. Those of us who have been affected by a loved ones decision to leave, will forever question why as the wound never really heals.....
