I know that Roger had hodgkins disease. He attended Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 5th and E Streets. Lettered Varsity baseball. Was attending San Deigo State University. Had another treatment for the H.D. - He at that time had no immunities and caught a cold, from what I understand and died from that rather than the disease which he battled for many years. It seems to me that he passed away in 1967 or 1968. I remember that I was attending San Diego State when I heard the news. Alex (Duckworth-) Ford.
